A delectably light and airy showpiece offering wonderful family living. Spacious and functional were the guiding principles for Palette when designing this home. Open plan living but clearly zoned spaces give this country home easy functionality. One area is devoted to relaxed entertaining, a cozy snug area is very inviting for reading or watching TV, and another space is perfect for cooking and dining. To link them, the same shades and shapes flow throughout. A mix of wood and concrete sits harmoniously together with quality materials creating a relaxed barn/lodge style feel. Palette Design was involved from initial concept designs and throughout the 18 month build. I was engaged to select all finishes and fittings throughout the interior, select the exterior colour palette, as well as providing detailed cabinetry design and interior/exterior architectural detailing.
